Remember to tip them. Their pay is scaled for the employee to supposedly get a certain amount, but they never get what they are told they will when hired. Or so one young gal (who I think said she was hoping to go to nursing school) told me. Taxes are possibly taken out, as if they were getting tipped a certain amount?

The State government forces that, for waitresses in California (as if they were getting at least a steady 8%, unless that has gone up).
