-— I often wonder why we’ve had no action on amendments in most of my lifetime. -—

The equal rights amendment came within a hair. It took another 30 years to get to the same place through legislation.

Perseverance and focus is the one thing we can learn from the commies.

-— Mark seems confident in this plan to introduce 11 Amendments in the State legislatures to restore the Republic. ——

At the very least, this will force them to respond to OUR agenda, rather than the other way around. We need to press them with an endless number of bills.

Obama has used that tactic effectively against us. It’s time we returned the favor.

Makes sense to me!

At the very least, this will force them to respond to OUR agenda, rather than the other way around.

Given the nature of Marxists in history and the penchant for petulance the Ruling Class in Ameritopia have for us 'Domestic terrorists' (April 2009 DHS Terror Assessment) - I have an idea about how they are going to respond to OUR agenda.

If you thought intimidation, threat and demonization were bad before, you have no idea what is about to come down on anyone working for those Amendments and goals, not to mention what the Feds will bring down on the State legislatures. The IRS scandal will end up being mild in comparison.

We're going to discover how many are willing to risk it all, including their lives, fortunes and reputations by attempting to implement this idea.

Considering the inevitability of conflict being foisted upon this people, a last ditch effort is better attempted than none at all. At least we will have a cause to rally behind when that last mistake is made, and we are pushed into what all Marxist regimes require to assume absolute control and power.

Good point. I fear it is inevitable that the only way out of this mess is via some catastrophic event, allowing the States and the People to take "appropriate" action to restore this Republic.

The Powers That Be in D.C. will never peacefully let go of the power they wield.

We have a federal government that is not enforcing the constitution or obeying the constitution. Right now there is nothing to prevent Obama from writing an executive order saying he can run for a 3rd term.

What makes anyone think that even if you pass new constitutional amendment that the federal government would obey them?

The only solution I can think of is nullification. The states created the federal government therefore the states have the ultimate authority for determining whether federal laws are constitutional.

If two people have a contract it is unreasonable to assume that only one of the people in the contract has the sole authority to interpret the contract.

I am not going to poo poo this effort but I do not think just because there is a new amendment that it will change the current relationship of federal government to the states or its people.

I will absolutely support Mark.

I’m not poo-pooing the effort dave, I said it’s a noble suggestion.

However, the idea of state nullification of Federal laws WILL result in the use of force to put that nullification down if a state refuses to obey federal orders to comply and demand they cease ‘rebellion’.

Fact of history: tyrants and their systems will not suffer any challenge to their power. They WILL use force if other means of coercion do not succeed in eliminating those opposed to them.
