Someone I know has a Prius (not a leftie by any means). He loves the mileage, but hates the fact that he can’t drive with the windows down.
Well, he *could*, but the low-frequency “whop-whop-whop” from its aerodynamics would blow his eardrums out.

In a strictly city environment the Prius delivers on it's promise of great mileage. Totally useless on the highway. The Highlander Hybrid and RX400H Lexus are a much better job of doing a hybrid vehicle. The 3.3L V-6 has enough power to propel the car. They beat the gas engine equivalent by 20% even on the highway.
Just don't spill a big gulp in the back seat. It could result in localized oxidation at a rapid rate. There is a TSB on that one.....

Well, he *could*, but the low-frequency whop-whop-whop from its aerodynamics would blow his eardrums out.On many new cars, if you put your window down, and crack the opposite rear window, most of the time that low frequency whop disappears.

Lower the drivers window and the rear window on the passenger side. (or vice versa if you’re worried about your hairdo)
This works on most cars.
Think of a flute or a tuba. Change the openings (tuning) so that a resonant frequency is NOT initiated.
