Of course, their testimony is not affected or tainted by what they heard. . .only witnesses with no family ties can be affected.
Which is ridiculous - since they tailored their testimony to fit the questions the persecution asked other real witnesses.
Isn't a corollary of what this trial is about is to resolve the question "who is the victim?"
If Trayvon attacked GZ, Trayvon is not "the victim." The Court does not know, at this point, who "the victim" is.
