I do not know the correct legal term maybe someone can help me with it... But it’s when the judge rules defense call no more witnesses and it moves to the closing arguements. I believe that is what she is getting at with asking George zimmerman to testify, she wants to cover her ass and say she offered Z a chance to testify, and won’t get in trouble for that. But when he gives his decision it will just give her the right to make the ruling to go straight to closing. Like I said I don’t know the term but my wife was telling me this happens in criminal cases about only 5 percent of the time. She is a paralegal. But I forgot what she called the ruling earlier... Also It’s really really frowned upon and she said she’s only heard of women judges doing this...

It will be interesting to see if that happens in this case. I wouldn’t doubt it in the least, knowing THIS judge.
