Defense always has the last say, I believe. No. I heard this yesterday from an attorney - the state has the burden of proving their case so they get the last say. State gives closing, defense gives closing, and state gets another shot.

Is the prosecutor allow to raise his voice and attempt to intimidate a non-hostile witness?
Seems like Defense has gone to great lengths to be polite and respectful to the court and witnesses.
