Disconnect from the internet when you are on line.
By that, I mean physically pull the plug out of your computer’s jack.
How can I use the internet if I am disconnected from it?
In Safari 6 see if under Preferences > General the third line down "Safari opens with" is set to "All windows from last session." You can change this to "A new window" which I personally prefer since I find the other setting to be disconcerting.
Hope this helps.
Oh, crap! That's soooo creepy! :-(
Sorry.
I meant to say...when you are not online.
iTunes will do a device-to-device sync without involving iCloud.
It’s Big Brother, I told you!
True.
You are not going to believe this. The pup I was just telling you about that hits the recall button was just featured on HLN, Jane Velez Mitchell’s Pet of the Day. She said she was stunning and a cover girl. LOL
Here she is.

I’ve had the same thing happen to me more than once.
Just sitting here and suddenly I hear people talking.
When they realized their mike was on they got all excited but the guy couldn’t figure out how to turn it off apparently and one was asking the other if he thought I heard anything.
Yes, I have been doing that because we just returned to Satellite internet service from sprint 3G hotspot service. We were away for more than two weeks and somehow we went still went over our allotment. I don’t know how that could happen because my computer was with me in Arizona, not at home and we live on 15 acres, with a 350’ driveway that makes an L turn, with a lake in back of us. No one could access our internet, even by sitting at the end of the driveway at the gate.
I’ve got the same set up.
I think that has something to do with the date and time updates but I’m not sure.
The blinking lights will tell you if something is being sent when it isn’t you sending it.
So, do you work in a sensitive industry, where there might be political intrigue going on within the company or environmental activists trying to access your communications from outside of the company?
Now that I think about it, I have heard people, always men talking. I never even thought about it being associated with the computer.
I would just dismiss it as maybe repairmen working around the general area and the wind or something picking it up. I actually have been sitting on my porch and heard men working several hundred yards away. They were installing a new warning light at the intersection. Some odd acoustics but now that I think about it, I can’t ever hear noises outside unless they are real loud as my house is very well insulated.
I'm about as low profile as you are going to get. I live off the grid as much as I can.
You probable talk on the phone more in a week than I do in a year.
Very few e mails.
I post here.
I was under surveillance in the 1980’s so they know who I am, and no it wasn't anything I did illegal. I was in the process of exposing corruption in the Corpus Christi police dept and the FBI covering up the corruption.
Phone tapped, mail intercepted and opened, followed, they even went to far as to move into the apartment above me and drilled through their floor, my ceiling, and had what looked like mono fishing line sticking through so they could watch my every move.
Been there done that. This wasn't just some accident.
NSA is sending a message.
behave.
I was just talking about the blinking lights, a short blink for send and receive I think that is a date and time up date signal, but I’m not sure.
The talking, no that’s not anyone working nearby, I live almost a mile from my front gate.
There is a number of Obamabots and Clintonites on this site and it is heavily monitored.
If your here I would say it’s a pretty good bet you are probably being monitored.
It happens to me all the time.Sometime’s the curser just moves on it on:)You get use to it.
