Dittos to your comments. I stopped going to Wendy’s because they joined the 10 cent cheese slice on everything bandwagon. They believe instead of asking if you want cheese and charging that extra 10 cents they’ll just go ahead and add cheese to everything, charge you for it by raising prices, then making you ask not to have cheese. We all know the illegal aliens in the back will almost always add that cheese. I HATE cheese on hamburgers.
Jack-in-the-Crack does this, as do others like Carl’s Junior. I simply stopped going to those places because they are simply too expenses for their annoyances. I mean a simple Single Combo at Wendy’s is now over $7. That “$6 burger for $5” is now over $8 at Carl’s. lol. Seems that $6 burger someplace else is a bargain.
There is only one establishment at which I eat cheeseburgers - my own home. I buy a chuck roast and grind it up myself (ok the kitchen aid does the heavy lifting).
A good cheeseburger is truly a gift from God, and apparently all the fast food places that sell burgers are atheists.
