Those who dislike or are relatively unfamiliar with the occult will likely be surprised to learn that a witchcraft schoollike an adult version of Hogwartsis in full operation in the center of New York City. The Wiccan Family Temple Academy of Pagan Studies, while certainly different from the fictional school that Harry Potter and his friends attended, does provide some intriguing elements that will serve as a surprise to those with little familiarity with Pagan beliefs and witchcraft.
The academy, according to information on its web site, offers affordable training, which includes coverage in the Path of Wicca, Starlight Vision Series, Herbal Intensive Series, tarot and pendulum use and many other elements important to the practice of Wicca. The educational facility claims to be the first of its kind in New York City.

There’s everything in NYC.
“The Wiccan Family Temple Academy of Pagan Studies”
this must be the new name for Cal Berkeley...
AKA The NYC Institute for Lesbian Studies.
I went to a witch ceremony in Salem, MA at Halloween a couple of years ago. She told us to make a wish. I did and it came true. I should probably go back...
How about a satanic temple adopt a highway.. Yikes http://www.wnd.com/2013/06/satanists-help-us-clean-highways/print/
So?
A couple of years back Syracuse University appointed a wiccan(sp) as a spiritual adviser to it’s Hendricks Chapel staff...
...another sign of the approaching apocalypse.
Lots of good restaurants, Interesting city. But there are indeed some strange people there, and one townie I knew said (to my stated curiosity on what it is like there on Halloween) said he avoids the place on Halloween and stays out of town for the evening. Not because of the crowds and traffic, but because the city becomes a magnet for every weirdo on the face of the earth. The person said it was disconcerting to be in the presence of so much strangeness in one place.
I would readily admit it is true, from what I saw last weekend.
I must admit, though, that this particular liquor store made me laugh out loud, and I considered buying a tshirt from them..."Bunghole Liquors"
I live in NYC. That’s nothing.
The witches and wizards at Hogwarts were NOT PAGAN! Good heavens.
There is an explosion of satanism among our young people. Thank you, Scholastic. Organizations offering help for the possessed are popping up all over the place to deal with it. Tell your children and anyone else you have any influence over to stay far away from anything even vaguely or facetiously occult. Don’t even unwrap your fortune cookie, and I’m not joking.
One particular horoscope stated that the reader would “meet a new lover” on that day. I asked the minister if this meant that every married person of this particular sign would either divorce or commit adultery. He admitted that he never looked at it that way and I had a point.
I went to Dinosaur College and became a stegosaurus.
Disgusting. I wish the NY Post did not carry horoscopes. It’s so low-class.
What is the fate of fools and their money?
The only believable message in a fortune cookie is:
“Help! I’m trapped in a fortune cookie factory!”
Tax exempt, no doubt.
