That is one of my favorite albums of all time! I am a crazy 80’s nut, so it fits me just fine. I tried to find a copy once on Amazon or e-bay and it is extremely rare and thus expensive. Evidently there was some brewhaha between Rockwell (yes, that is the singer’s name) and his father who is some well known producer. The producer dad didn’t want his son to release an album, so Rockwell did it behind his back.
Now, they have the liscencing all tied up and no one can re-release it.....However, a girl I was dating once found a copy from a Chinese counterfitter and gave it to me as a Christmas gift! The best gift I ever received.
Rockwell (Kennedy William Gordy) is the son of Barry Gordy, the legendary founder of Motown Records.
