It looks like another fast food chains employees have been caught behaving badly.
In a photo posted on Reddit, a Wendys employee can be seen helping himself directly from the Frosty machine.
I was going to buy a frosty from Wendys [sic] until I saw the employee do this, the user wrote.
Commenters quickly pointed out that the photo doesnt appear to be taken from across the counter, nor does it make sense that an employee would do this in front of a customer.
Regardless, the gross photo is still on the Internet for everyone to check out before considering a Frosty from Wendys.
Last week a photo of a Taco Bell employee licking a stack of taco shells went viral. The employee, Nicholas Kauffman, no longer works at the California Taco Bell restaurant and an official spokesperson said an investigation has been launched into the incident.
The main reason I rarely eat at chain restaurants. A family owned business would never allow this.
There’s so much human garbage in this generation. They could easily stop this ongoing crap by a reliable and simple 6 months in the county lockup. widely publicize as it as it happens. Hit them with a civil suit too.
Funny, when I read “self serving Frosty” I imagined MUCH worse.
that’s just stoopit.
There is nothing in the sandwich bins, the whole area is spotless.
I’m guessing the store had shut down for the evening and he was taking a last bit of ice cream before breaking down the machine, which gets washed in soap, bleach and sanitizer.
I got no problem with this. Besides, a customer didn’t take this picture.
The angle indicated it’s taken right in front of the tote board, where all front line orders can be seen by managers, runners and cashiers.
Bunk.
These lowlifes do this not because of a personal affront, which could, perhaps, be understood, but because they HATE us.
I've quit going to fast foods, especially, call me politically incorrect, after the Katrina blacks made their way here.
Years ago we had a rumor start about a popular french restaurant in our city. We were advised to avoid the “Creamy” Italian dressing on the salad, because a disgruntled employee was rumored to have put a little extra “cream” into it. Within a year of hearing the rumor they were out of business.
Right dream on! bad employees and people are everywhere. You can’t tell what time of day this occurred or even if the restaurant was open. Tactless as it is, it may have happened after hours before the machine was broken down for cleaning. We just don’t have enough info to condemn anyone over the picture.
A few years ago I was at a college football game with a friend. He went to get a cup of coffee. He said while he was in line, he observed a female employee of the coffee stand picking her nose. She was one of Holder’s people. He ordered his coffee, and she picked a cup, and put her nose picking finger in it. He got angry and complained. The manager, or boss, basically sided with the female. My friend got his coffee, but only after getting a different cup, and he watched her like a hawk as she filled it.
Oh, this totally figures.
Well, you might want to checkout the tv show, “Restaurant Stakeout.” On the other hand, maybe you would rather not know...
not this particular behavior by employees, but by family, yes. even then they wouldn’t do it when other people were around.
you need to watch Kitchen Nightmares.
It just be dare na-chah.
People who go to restaurants take their chances...Ya piss these people off behind the counter, and they’ll put some serious cowflop in your taco....

Sweeney Todd
Hah... just think about all the real gross stuff that never makes it into a photograph
Hubby and I are having our meals at home most of the times due to the nastiness that goes go in these places. We use to eat out a lot until we both became ill a number of times. Once, I was even hospitalized. It was pretty bad. Some of the fast food workers are nasty right in front of a customer. I just leave. They ask us why are you going. We say because you gross us out. I don’t know the number of times I have called Wendy’s to complain about the food/finding stuff in our food. There’s a Red Lobster in Fort Pierce; you don’t want to go there. I had a friend work there as a server. She quit and told me to stay out of there. Nasty kitchen (just leave it at that). Be careful out there everyone.
There goes his once promising career!
Complete speculation.
Think Occam’s Razor.
