The whistler blower who leaked the NSA's secrets thought about marrying his girlfriend and had previously taken her on a romantic break to Hong Kong - where he is now holed up living in fear of arrest.
Ed Snowden, 29, was deeply in love with stunning ballerina Lindsay Mills, 28, and the pair were so close that family friends thought they might have got hitched in secret.
He whisked her 8,000 miles away to Hong Kong where some thought the ceremony took place because it was a 'special place' for them.

Hate to break it to you.
some report he's been there many times before
traditionally spies who succeed in escaping do so just ahead of the guys who are already targeting them.
He went to china ~ that means something.
It’s hard trying to build an accurate model in 24 hours on this thing, but here’s my shot:
75% of the people acting shocked about data collection and mining are not. Most of us know wiretapping was invented right along with the wire in 1820 or whenever.
Snowden didn’t work in intel that long without being figured for a ‘traitor’ that’d run and spill. I think he was released with a mission - accomplished.
He dragged on Langeley a bit over the drunk Swedish banker for SRM creds. The old saws ‘whose ox got gored’ and ‘the dog that yelped’ apply here. Snowden was a hit on poshitus.
And because she’s perfect except that she’s unelectable, ya know, because McAmnesty and Mittens worked out so well for us.
I don’t get ballet. Why don’t they just hire taller women and homos?
Open yours. He may be a spy...OR he knows China is the least likely place that will ship him back.
So are you glad this shxt got exposed or not?
Well they were lesser evils so that’s OK.
FR archives are full of the same stuff ~ all those stories were run.
Let me say this about following the older stories, the Paulists just now came up with another party line they think will advance their cause.
Seen many straight man in ballet? I thought not. ;)
But he told me that part of his 'contract' back then was he could not travel outside the United States without their permission. Even after he quit that job to move back home, he had a 5 year period where he was not allowed to travel outside the US unless he had their permission first.
Actually I have to a pretty good degree. But the genpub didn’t and you still did not answer my question. Are you happy this got exposed or not?
99 percent of the planet aren’t FR political junkies. The NSA violated the Constitution along with every pol that signed off on and covered this up.
I think some of you guys are under the misperception that your calling information is your property ~ it's not ~ it all belongs to the communications common carriers!
Those files are required by law. Some off the laws have no greater purpose than making it possible to charge taxes.
I’m ‘under the impression’ that you are pissed off that big brother got caught. And since you refuse to answer a simple question, that explains a lot.
norm, learn how to ask relevant questions and you’ll get answers. as it is you are not interested in learning anything ~ just blathering about big brother and the like.
So, am I happy about what? Give chapter, verse, and something that's been definitized a tad ~ Snowden says stuff ~ but where's the beef?
I asked a relevant question Are you happy this was exposed or not. You are the only person here ducking it. What? you need the freaking Supreme court to tell you what you should think?
Anyone think that question is not relevant? Then Speak up. Anyone but me wonder why Mu is having such a tizzy about answering it? You didn’t want to answer any questions in our last go around either if memory serves and resorted to this same avoidance BS.
Norm, tell me what was exposed that had not already been exposed ~ and don’t tell me they recorded every phone conversation and email in America ~
So it’s because relevant in the past 2 min. Good. “The Beef” is where it leads. Which we need to follow. Unless there is a problem. Unless we are supposed to just live willingly without any privacy at all dictated to by secret courts.
The whole thing to a public that had no clue perhaps? If everyone new, then why are they suddenly pissed?
