OXOXO! Hugs! How hot has it been there? It has been high 80’s here during the day but at night in the 40’s.
There really wasn’t that much traffic. It was a country road, one lane in each direction, and no one was coming the other way. But I did have four cars backed up behind me.
They were all very nice about it.
A few weeks ago, we were up around 118, but since we have the monsoons, now, we’re down to 106+ but the humidity it up to 25%+. Another four to six weeks and we’ll be back to “normal” again, as far as the humidity is concerned.
Forties at night, eh? Sometimes, I really miss living in the house at the mouth of Payson Canyon...

Man. I hate to tell you this, but some girls are MUCH harder to bring up than boys are. My daughter was 10 times the difficulty my son was.
Long story, that, but still, she made life hard for herself and never realized it. It was all my fault, of course.
Did you check your email?
Yes, it’s there, and I assimilated the concept that everything is my fault a long time ago.
That is precisely why I don’t know how you do it! That and still doing the “mom things” while you have the flu are the two aspects of motherhood I find astounding.
I have an amazing ability to avoid the flu, but I’ve been through some awful stomach crud a few times.
It’s a wonder we’re not consumed by guilt. *snort*
I was fairly lucky (still am, I guess) because I seldom got the flu. And even less often, after I quit smoking, did I get a cold.
When I DID get a cold, it settled in my chest because of the Whooping Cough I had as a tot, and the collapsed lung as the result of a car accident. But I think, since 1980, I’ve had the flu twice and maybe three colds.

Nice!
The wall(s) you see in front of the vehicle are my apartment and patio fence.
Window tint!
Yes! The Busdaddy paid for it! The company he worked for sold out to another company doing the same thing, so he was fired and hired, and in the process, the former company gave him is vacation pay.
He surprised me. I was going to have it done Aug 2, and even made the appointment, but he said he would pay for it and I had to do it ASAP. I am so grateful! The difference is amazing! The rear three windows have limo tint and the doors have “20%” which is about the legal standard.
It’s now my “Mafia Mobile!”
Or my Incognito...
I can’t see you at all.
See? I’m good.
The best thing was that it was only $100 plus tax. I went back to the place that put the alarm in Ms Daisy, and the same place I referred Busdaddy to for the stereo in his truck.
I will go back on the second and have them trouble-shoot the radio, as it only plays when it wants to. He will also check out the alarm connections because the heat sets the alarm off, so I can’t set it.
Good thing I have a clutch lock!
