can you get your meds through mail order on a schedule?

My uncle called last night and said Anoreth could have Dad’s 1984 Mazda RX-7, the Silver Bullet. He’s got it stashed in Dallas. Here’s a song that makes me think of my Dad and uncle: Ern would send the money and lawyers, and Dad would show up with the guns.

Probably when I transfer depending on where I go we can fly down to Dallas and drive it back. At some point this winter I’ll write a check so that he can finish whatever work it needs.

Oh, I think he’d get the work done as a favor to Dad. Ern has heaps of money.
Oh. Ok then.
Several things I have learned/confirmed over the last few days, and while they may not seem important to “folks,” they are vitally important to me.
1. I absolutely MUST take my pills every morning, regardless of how rotten I feel.
2. I absolutely MUST have a water filter (Pur) on my faucet to prevent kidney problems.
3. If I miss my first dose of pills, I will suffer the consequences within 48 hours.
4. If I miss my second dose of pills, the suffering will be extended for at least 96 hours, if not longer.
5. No one is responsible for my well-being but me.
6. If I forget to order the proper pills in the proper amounts to get me through the month, it is MY responsibility; no one else’s.
7. I am not always aware of what my brain is doing, and because of that, I don’t always order the right pills in the right amounts for the entire month.
8. I apologize for #7.
9. I am beholden to anyone who has helped me through any rough spots, and I pray daily that the help that has been given will be returned ten-fold.

Do you have your standard order of pills and your schedule for taking them written up and stuck on the refrigerator?
That focuses me. You know, I was trying to decide what explosive to use on the anthill....

My pill order varies on how many pills are in the bottles that I need to order, which may explain why I “run out” when I thought I had it all “under control.”
As for the pills, amounts and times to be taken, yes, they are on the fridge. But if my brain is not “handy” then I am sunk.
Should I give you a list of the pills? At least that way, you can remind me or whatever.
Dang. This is really sucky, you know?
I order my pills on payday (once a month) but if I’m not functioning on all pistons, I can miss a dosage that is vitally important to my functioning.

I’m much better at reminding FRiends to take pills than I am to remember the ones I desperately need to function as a REAL PERSON!
