I’d compare the cell data versions myself, personally, to be fair head-to-head, instead of WiFi (because then you can just use the iPod Touch instead of the iPhone as the comparison).

Some unlocked I phones are priced at 800 to $900. or as one of our younger relatives says, = 2 I pad minis.
