After Tom Baker in the 1970’s, every new Doctor has been something of a disappointment for me. I think James Bond fans are going to feel the same way when Daniel Craig retires. Some actors just “own” a role and viewers can never completely let go of it.

Daniel Craig?! I've felt that way ever since Sean Connery retired... and that was several years before I was born.

I grew up with Sean Connery's James Bond in the 1960’s.

I felt like you until Daniel Craig showed up.

I was completely blown away by Craig's first Bond film.

Connery was great and defined the character in many ways.

But for me, Craig took Bond to a whole new level.
