Good points. In our present state we cannot even take our governments word on the weather, since we were supposed to be burning up and drowning from global warming by now. How would the AP know when the records were actually being acquired ? They were done secretly and all we have is the word from an agency which admits breaking the law. Why would they wait one whole year to let the AP know this ?

CYA in case the wiretapping was discovered because what the media has now FIXATED on is the Yemen episode which everyone knew AT THE TIME was a wh leak. And TODAY we know that AP was actually working with the CIA on the Yemen story because obama wanted to take credit for foiling a terrorist attack all by hisself...but what he actually did was out one of our own agents who had to run for his life.
obama wanted the credit for the Yemen op for the same reason he outed stuxnet...because the Israeli Mossad was getting all the credit.
That was NOT the reason for the AP wiretaps because no national security was breached by AP then whatsoever.
AP or any other media do not have a clue when or why AP was tapped. They have no idea it had anything to do with Benghazi.
