Well, I liked it and I am waiting for the third season to come out. But on the bad side, watching every episode of the first two seasons this weekend, mostly all together, I find that they are always just wandering off and getting into trouble for no reason. (As usual for the zombie genre) Maybe if I watched it once a week I wouldn't notice so much.

Nearly every show has someone wandering off without telling anyone, then everyone having to look around for them. They even have to go look for the guy that went looking for the other guy that wandered off. The worst was when the farmer wandered off to get drunk and didn't tell anyone, then Rick and Glen wandered off to find the farmer, which caused Rick's wife to wander off to find Rick, which caused Shane to wander off to find her. That's four levels deep of people wandering off.

Some proposed dialog:

"What happened to Silvia?"

"She wandered off and got killed."

"Damn! What happened to Dale?"

"He wandered off and got killed."

"Damn! If only there were some way of stopping us from getting killed so much."

Its a good show, and I especially liked the pilot. But as with every zombie movie, I end up thinking about what they really should be doing, instead of what they are doing.

I spent most of season 2 thinking that Rick and Lori are the worst parents ever. Get in the house, Carl! Meanwhile...

I suspect that's why the writers turned down Darryl's request for a dog and gave him a new crossbow instead.......
