It's also amusing how so many of you take any thread that remotely touches on the rebellion and try to convince everyone how everything would be sooooo much better if only the South had won. Ninety percent of what is wrong with this country is the fault of the Democrats, and for most of that time the Democrats were Southerners. So why should be think that a Confederate States would be any different?
