Markey is better?

Good point. I'm certain Gomez can find Cohasset on a map...

The problem is that if you give people a choice between a democrat and a democrat, they'll pick the democrat. Even a vile one like Markey. (And yes, he used to be my Congress critter, I'm well acquainted with the gentleman from Comcast.)

I voted for Sullivan. Gomez is a complete and utter RINO, probably worse. As usual we have no options here and Gomez doesn’t stand a chance.

Markey is bad. Gomez is bad. Which is better?

Unlike Malarkey, Gomez at least has some significant experience working in the dreaded private sector. Also, this would be Gomez's first political office. Markey has held elective office continuously since 1973. This is not to say Gomez is anything other than an unprincipled RINO wannabe whose only goal is his own advancement.

I, too, voted for Sullivan, but without much enthusiasm. He lost, and Gomez won, with 51%. Sigh. But, nevertheless, it would be great to see Malarkey lose an election!

I don’t want a rigid partisan. I want a Conservative with a spine.

Just like the Presidential races in 2008 and 2012.

Hopefully he’s not another squishy “moderate”.

No, he is not another squishy moderate .... he is more like Liar Liz Warren.

Well I’m from MA. Gomez is a democrat. He ran on the republican side because he knew he could never get the democratic nomination. Then because he’s a “moderate” republican, all the establishment (Bill Weld, etc.) got behind him.

Should he win, he will be a Jim Jeffords, an Arlen Specter, a Lincoln Chafee, a Charlie Crist. In other words, a democrat appeaser.

But he won’t win. This is a repeat of the Brown/Warren race. Conservatives (including this one) will not vote for him. We will stay home or write somebody in.

bump

the lesser of two evils is still an evil

do not waste time or effort or money supporting lftist RINO’s, spend your efforts on races where conservatives are running
