Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe, who has repeatedly spoken out in favor of same-sex marriage, says he now worries that his career with the team may be on the line. On Sunday, Kluwe said he is starting to sense that rumors surrounding whether or not he will be released from the team will soon become distractions. Its a shame that in a league with players given multiple second chances after arrests, including felony arrests, that speaking out on human rights has a chance of getting you cut, Kluwe told NBCs Pro Football Talk via text message.

LOL. Those "rumors" tend to happen when your team drafts another punter in the 5th round. Teams don't keep two starting punters on the roster and they don't waste 5th round picks on players to provide "motivation" for the current punter. Hey Chris - can you say "waived"?
We drafted a punter in the fifth round. Kluwe was middle of the league in net average this year.
The special teams coordinator said recently that he was tired of Kluwe’s mouth and that he couldn’t get him to concentrate at times.
I can’t think of a single historical figure known for their contributions to human rights would declare the right to redefine marriage to cover homosexuals a human right.
Given that we took the NFC's Pro Bowl kicker, Blair Walsh, in last year's sixth round, that would be accurate.
Clever. But it's got nothing to do with this particular topic.
Homosexuals think the world centers around them....this is a perfect example of that mindset.
- Kluwe was the 20th ranked punter in the NFL- bottom half of the league...
- his was 17th in net average (can’t get hang time on punts), bottom half of the league..
- he was 6th in the number of punts allowed to be returned; bottom 20% of the league...
- he was 31st in the number of punts placed inside the 20 (he also had Adrian Peterson rushing for 2000+ yards, so the offense could not be blamed)...
this is the age of obama....its always someone elses fault...
Anal sex is a human right. LOL!
Locke is a keeper....
Jump on the homo bandwagon and presto - you're bulletproof.
LOL

I have to agre with that part. I’ve heard that the nfl drug tests in the spring before the season starts and then not again until the next spring? Can anyone verify that?
The offense could be blamed, to a point. Bill Musgrave might be the worst OC in the NFL. Peterson's brilliance and our o-line saved our season.
Also add he kicks inside a dome for over half the season. Not great numbers for a kicker who has zero worry about the weather affecting his punts.
He can kick-off, too.
Ah... so here’s the attempt to blame his possible cut on “neanderthal” attitudes about marriage.
Naw... couldn’t be because he’s a crappy punter.
Is this guy any good?
PEE you next Tuesday, Kluwe.
I wonder if the NFL will go all-in for kiddie sex like they have for the homos?
