Sorry, but I hope you’re not comparing Tim Tebow to Peyton Manning. One playoff win aside, there just is no comparison.
‘Course not. But if the success of a TEAM is measured by their success in the playoffs, then TEAM Broncos were less successful last year than they were the year before. Even with the “one Super Bowl winning quarterback” Peyton Manning, who happens to be a very poor playoff qb.
If you go back and look at it, the Broncos got off to a worse start with Manning than Tebow. The offensive line was allowing Manning to be sacked as often as the much quicker and more powerful Tebow the previous season. Where Tebow would still win games, Manning was losing. I believe Denver coaches then realized they had an offensive line issue. Changes were made, pass protection dramatically improved and the Broncos went on a streak.
Let Tebow not be sacked in a game and he'll win.
