51,000 from both sides over 3 days. Tragic, as are the even more deaths resulting from the War against God, as a multitude of
statistics help show . But i did not see anything about reparations in the series.

Are you sure those are the bodies of Union soldiers? I was told that nearly all the photos you will see of bodies on Civil War battlefields are of Confederate dead.
