You DO know the supreme court ruled that a person has no right to expect police protection?

The ONLY people who truly put their butts on the line to protect a family, is a family member.

Modern police are a necessary evil, but they are certainly evil.

First place, the people protecting me were all wearing the uniform of A brance of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

Secondly, I have never asked any cop to protect me.

Third, No cop has by any stretch of the imagination, protected me by forcing me out of my house with my hands raiesd in surrender at gunpoint with the implied threat of the use of deadly force against me when I have committed no crime.
