In the wake of the tragic Boston Marathon bombings, it took mere hours for CNN to strongly hint without anything so significant as evidence or proof that right-wing extremists were responsible.

That’s about how long it took for everyone to hint at something
Not a peep from our so called republican/conservative leaders in defense of their constituents which leads me to believe they thought it could have been a right winger. Nothing but crickets.
I’m sure in their “collective” little pea brains they were SO hoping for tim macveigh’s twin to be behind it. Remember, NEVER judge all muslims by the actions of a few. ALWAYS judge all gun owners by the actions of a few.

I’m not surprised because I would never expect anyone to stand up and demand an apology to all the white (possible terrorist) guys out there doing their day to day jobs and wanting to be left alone. (A sure warning sign that they are a threat!)
Didn’t we all have hopes for who it would turn out to be?
Probably, but we don't have a national TV audience to preach them to.
No, our audience is an anonymous web forum...we still get to preach though
Yes, we did. A sad commentary on how polarized and divided we have become. I understand the anger towards the media because they allow their obvious partisanship to assign blame before any facts are known.
The same thing happens here, largely out of defensiveness, but the difference is that millions of people are not watching what we type and we don’t create the narrative.
Maybe that’s why we are so polarized and divided...these kinds of forums re-circulate the same basic theme.
NYT/WaPo/LAT/ABCNNBCbs = the co-operative enemies of freedom...

Yes, but we can’t ignore the money. Web hits generate money. This is why Alex Jones, WND, and other folks like that write extreme stories that are often not true or exaggerated/twisted into something else. Many people believe it and it gets linked over and over and thousands follow the links to read the articles generating revenues for them. At some point, on both sides of the aisle, our reality is formed by these articles that fit the narrative we want.
It’s difficult to find the truth anymore and more difficult to have a reasoned discussion about truth because the left and the right both have their own spin-doctors profiting from the conversation with little or no accountability. I can write whatever I want, but I don’t make revenue when you read it. WND writes whatever they want and the more exciting and conspiratorial it sounds the more money they make when people click on the story. The left has their own fringe media that generates clicks and revenue with no accountability. These fringes are where immortal lies are born and our nation is pulled further apart. They laugh all the way to the bank.
It exists on both sides. I used to make fun of the “unhinged left” because I saw how preposterous they looked. I read some of the stuff from “my side” now and feel quite depressed for my children and their future. Jump in on a thread and try to move in a reasoned direction opposite the rush of lemmings. You will often get swept over the cliff no matter how hard you try.
We have posters here who link their blogs in pseudo-vanities to generate blog hits. Sometimes they write things that seem incredible. We have many regulars that follow and accuse them of trying to generate blog hits. What is different about WND and a blog? I sometimes can’t tell the difference and every time we click and look at the advertisements they make money.

Demonize me all you want. Doesn’t bother me a bit.
But should that day come, the chips are down and you’re involved as a victim of a terrorist attack, I’ll bet you dollars to donuts your attacker will be an Islamic terrorist and not a right winger.
