Whoever told you it rained may have been correct. Ground is wet over this way and sky is full of clouds. Am suspecting there was rain at some point but I'm not sticking my neck out and saying it rained last night. Put the person, saying it rained last night, under oath ... best way to get to the truth legally. Could use truth serum ... that stuff maybe is outlawed though.

I was asleep, but there’s no reason to disbelieve the report.
Unfortunately, this means Epic Fail Lawn Service will say it’s too wet to mow the lawn!

I wonder which is worse - lightning striking a pool full of swimmers or striking a wet swimmer who is running for cover?
Anyway, I guess the humor in the question was lost. They should not cancel because of rain. They should cancel because of thunder/lightning.
