PayPal just contacted me and stated that I now had to connect my PayPal account with my personal bank account, not my credit card. Anybody else here went for that? It looks to me a risk of having a hacker ruin the CC account and one’s personal bank account.

That’s old. That happens when you exceed a certain amount of transactions (I think it is something like $5K lifetime). It protects them because by using credit cards, they are basically also transferring payments on credit and it increases the risk.

You need to read the email closely. There are several scams regarding paypal.

For the most part I like Paypal and don’t much care that they don’t want to deal in transactions with firearms. I don’t want them involved in my firearms transactions anyway. I prefer cash for those sorts of things.
