Can't stand Geddy Lee.
But Neil Peart. I don't care how much you talk him up, he's still underrated.

And I think Lifeson is incredibly underrated as a guitarist.

I’m still looking, man, finding while spitting on the Strolling Bones’ 50 Anniversary tour (I wish they’d go in the studio, and preferably with the German boogie woogie pianist that Charlie travels with in the A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie band.) Check out James Justin, Sallie Ford, Nicki Bluhm, three that I remember off the top of my head.

10-4 on that. U2 is in my vehicle CD player at this moment.
(... How can I prove the truth of that statement?)

I would say Madonna but since she is not a musician but instead a "Pop Star" she doesn't qualify.
Neil young comes to mind. His guitar playing is laughable.

Whoever said Led Zeppelin should be shot Hung, drawn, and quartered, while set on fire in a bath of boiling acid.
Shot only as an act of mercy IF he recants at the end.

Current rating is “annoying 1-hit wonders.” How overrated could they possibly be. It’s like saying Mario Mendoza is overrated as a hitter.

Janis Joplin, The Beastie Boys, and Queen.
The awful, the annoying, and the queer.

Whoever said Led Zeppelin should be shot. I like Zepplin, but there would not be a Zepplin if not for Humble Pie and the very underrated Steve Marriot (Best known for 30 Days in the Hole or I Don't Need No Doctor)

Billy Joel may not be the best Piano Player ever but he can hold his own. Remember the thread title says Musician!

Style and genre. Could Louis Armstrong sing? Howlin Wolf? Mario Lanza could sing by the definition of those who tell us as if it was an earth shattering discovery that “Dylan can’t sing”. None of those who “can sing” today compare to Mario Lanza or Carlos Gardel for that matter. So , please don’t tell me that Tom Jones, or George Strait can sing, and Dylan can’t!

“Bob Seger and Billy Joel.”
Yes, good ol’ “Bring-me-down-Bob”...
For anyone who grew up in the early/mid Seventies within earshot of WRIF in Detroit, every third song was a Bob Seger song.

The Beatles, really? I thought they were great. They sure made lots of tunes quite a number of people covered.

I don't think anybody ever rates KISS as good musicians. What they are/were is a great stage show and marketing.
