No matter how amicable, and how much you trust at the time, be absolutely certain to take immediate action on the following items: Change all your passwords, change all the locks, change the security alarm code, and put the portable valuables into secure storage (ask your lawyer about this).

There is an important lesson here for anyone getting divorced....I’ve been down this road..(ahem) ..numerous times. No kids, so no child support. The last time, the judge asked my wife(at the time) “What do you want from this man? Anything?” I sat there quietly and said to myself “SHUT UP, Judge! SHUT UP!” The soon-to-be exwife said “Yes. I want him the F-—K out of my life!! Let him go fishing all he wants! Maybe he’ll fall overboard!!!” Later her lawyer asked me what I fish for, where and could I take him on a trip. I’m leaving this Sunday for a grouper trip to Hernando Beach, FLorida. Got four seats available.
