I remember that rumor! With the Clintons, very little is as it seems so I wouldn’t rule out anything.

Pardon me if Im skeptical about her motivation. She's starting her collection of political props. Either that or her husband doesn't want to touch her.

This is good news IMHO. It means that the Bill/Hillary line is going extinct and will be gone once Bill and Hill are dried up and turned to dust. And that is indeed good for the human race.

If Danny knew how much he’d be getting if he can prove he is Bill’s son, he’d be going to court to get his share.

The baby will need his own wing for all the international loot shipped in for the baby shower.

However, domestic infant adoption is always a bit risky even for regular folks. And if the birth family were to find out they'd given their child to Chelsea, she could have them hanging on to her for the rest of her life. An African adoption is more or less guaranteed and no birth family messiness to boot.
We've looked into fostering/adoption. My admittedly limited observation is that the adoption industry (and, to be sure, it is an industry) has been taken over by the same types of people that run schools, government and academia. It's dysfunctional, expensive, frustrating and bureaucratic, mostly to the disadvantage of the children whose interests are supposedly being served.
We haven't looked into foreign adoption, but I suspect that a little cash in the right places greases the wheels more easily than here in the U.S.

My thoughts also. But what happens when its not the in thing anymore? What happens if it becomes so yesterday? The kid gets bundled off to boarding school? Is Betty Currie still available for dropping off no longer wanted adoptees?

"Pardon me if Im skeptical about her motivation."
It'll look good for her mother's campaign. Hillary carrying a black baby on her hip while she's waving to her adoring crowd. We all know it's just another gimmick created by the Clintons to get as much political punch as possible. If the adoption was motivated by true sincerity, there wouldn't have been a need to release the info to the press at all.

We haven't looked into foreign adoption, but I suspect that a little cash in the right places greases the wheels more easily than here in the U.S.That's exactly right. No question, adoption is an industry. And approved 501c(3) organizations are greasing the right palms in third world countries. That's not necessarily a bad thing - no question children are being saved from a life on the streets.
Among my children and grandchildren, we have several adopted children, both international and domestic.
Good luck and God bless with your adoption plans. If you are willing to adopt any race domestically with some in utero drug exposure, you could likely have an infant home with you in under a year.

Wonder if it’s a relative of Obama.

there wouldn't have been a need to release the info to the press at all. I hate the Clinton's as much as the next FReeper, but do you think they gave a presser to the National Enquirer?
