Thanks. My son, now 22, did a "Famous Americans" report on Patrick Henry in fourth or fifth grade. I just sent him a simple question -- "Which famous American delivered a speech to the Virginia Assembly 200 years ago today? What did he say? And why?"

That speech still sends shivers down my spine when I read it. It resonates in 2012 much more than ever before for most of us.

Gentlemen may cry, peace, peace - but there is no peace. The war is actually begun. ... Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God!
