Hi, I started with DOS 6.22 and went to Win 3.1 and what a crashfest that was. Next was WIN95, har, same crap, different name. How many times I had to format the drive and reinstall the world, I don't wanna remember!

Flash forward to Win 7, a world of difference! It takes care of itself, no more installing updates, etc, it asks first and does it. How cool is that? No BSOD!

And, I have an original vintage iMac from 2001, works fine and came with a clear pro keyboard and laser mouse for a fiver from a garage sale around 2006. It's cool but there's not much there computer capacity compared to my good old Toshiba laptop [from 2010] I'm tapping this note out on. But, yay!

I like Toshiba, but my laptop was a 2000, and it had heating issues, and I like Windows XP, but My Snow Leopard 24" iMac is much better.
Of course, it's not fair to compare 2000 tech to 2010 tech.
