Well, you have to remember, O Wise One In The Darksheare Ways, that to have Darks’ coffee “seep” into the Library, after all this time, means that there is a breakdown in the structure, or other environs.

I, personally, think it has to do with the lack of repellent in the form of some, um... Highland Music. It was excellent for eliminating the little beasties...

We tried to keep them out of the Flying Castle, but the small ones evaded everything, including the inhabitants of the Lower Levels, and the occupants of the moat.

So, “seep” is what it is until we can find a way to counteract it.

Any ideas, folks? How do we stop the “seeping” of Darksheare’s coffee into the library?

That's probably what happened to the carbons.
