Bryan and I used to ferry from Vallejo to San Francisco every once in a while when we lived in
Benicia. We always had a great time, but that’s not unusual for us, LOL! There is plenty to see
in San Francisco Bay, so that makes it nice as well.

When we lived in Southern California and visited San Francisco, we made a habit of walking all
around the entire city, up and down the hills, Lombard Street, and all over the waterfront. There
is so much to see and do! Those are some of my most precious memories.

The only ferry we took when we lived in Fremont, was the one that went to Alcatraz, and we only did that because my brother and his wife visited us.

Of course, when we lived in San Diego, the only ways to go to Coronado were the “Nickel Snatcher” ferry and driving up the Strand through Chula Vista. We left there while the bridge was still on the drawing board.
