OMGoodness! I love reptiles!
When Bryan and I used to hike in California, we met plenty of lizards and snakes. Once we saw a pencil-sized snake
on the path, and when I picked it up to keep it from being trampled, it bit me, LOL! Razor-sharp teeth were too tiny
to break through my skin, but it did successfully scare off the giant monster who was about to eat it (it thought) when
I put it into the foliage at the side of the trail. That was really, really neato.
Once we came upon a blue-bellied lizard, and when I tried to scare it off the trail, it ran up my leg. When I reached
for it, it climbed into my hand and sat there like a pasha. I released it into the shrubbery as well. I just love it when
stuff like that happens.
