Midnight was similar in color if not perhaps a little more to the right on the color scale. Were lucky to have Midnight from a near newborn kitteh. Midnight was mischievous and the laughs provided seared deep into the memory. May your years with Shadow be as much fun as was with Midnight in the house.

She is approximately five years old, and we did take her in when she was a kitten. We should have many more years with her, God willing.

She got the name Shadow, not because she is black without a speck of white, but because when we first met, she followed me whenever I
went outside, gardening, getting the mail and newspaper, putting out the trash bin, etc. I left her out for a few days, finally caved and took
her in. She was my shadow, and Shadow she will always be. Once they come in, they never go out again unless carefully supervised.
