What I’ve observed is that some people take things for granted. Then, when the “things” they’ve taken for granted are no longer there, they groan and moan. A dollar short and a day late.
I’ve also observed a closeness in this virtual community which is real to me. Recently read a piece concerning this, and I concur that the reality of the virtual community sometimes transcends that which is ostensibly concrete. Others would undoubtedly disagree. However, I have received very valuable input, advisement and support from this community. We’re here for you just as you have been here for us.
The virtual community has more virtue.
The concrete community has more concrete.
SG...You are a “newcomer.” I’ve been here, on th UT since the inception, way back in 2004. The people here are FAMILY. Period. If you haven’t been here since Day One, when Stag blew through the back wall of the Smoky Back Room, then you have a lot to read up on.
If I know nothing else, it is that the people of the Undead Thread are here for me, and they are here for everyone who has ever passed through the Portals of the Flying Castle.
You are a valued member of the UT, and we love you, because we have invited you to join us. Never, ever, doubt that you are part of us...
XOXO
