Most rogue appliances are kept in the Lower Levels, where the dwarfs, and zombies carry out their work. The dust bunnies and the basilisk are one level below that. The walls and doors down there tend to shift, so please, don’t go down there without a guide. One with a map and a whip.
The Library is fairly high in the castle, and there used to be a Widow’s Walk where a certain piper could do his piping. That is seldom used, now, except for an occasional melancholy person or two.

It’s unclear why we’re suddenly having issues with the laundry machines. They were very good for a long time. Could be nanites, could be spiders ... or maybe someone’s experiments produce an electromagnetic aura with unforseen properties.
If your clothes look like they’ve been beaten on a rock in the moat ... well, we’re doing the best we can with what we have to work with.

Perhaps some of Darks’ dessicated coffee made its way into someone’s clothes, and the reconstitution of same caused the appliances to rebel.
And washing clothes on rocks in the moat is certainly better than the alternative...having them eaten by the washers. I mean, we’re a free society and all that, but we DO like our clothes!

It’s been a while since I saw that video. I’d call him Clever Cat. His owner keeps all the stolen items and invites the neighbors in to reclaim their things.
They could have a daily party and get-together for stuff recovery!

We had a cat in the dryer once, for a couple of THUDs. She was *very* angry.

I prefer weak coffee. Just over a potful is my limit.
