Forgot to give Greensboro / High Point their due. There was a battle at Guilford County Court House. Was fought to a draw. Lord Cornofthewallace was in full retreat after Kings Mountain / Cowpens and Guilford County Court House ran Lord Cornofthewallace completely out of the Carolinas. The Hornets Nest had been born. The Men out of the Carolinas followed the British all the way to Yorktown. Was a site to behold. No offense Maggie! You were one of the Great Ones.

As a child, I had a friend who was born in Europe and got her hairs cut. She also combed and brushed her hairs.

I used to leave my car garaged at home and take one of those multiple-passenger airport shuttle things. They were pretty reasonable at the time and I didn’t have to worry about my car.

The only shuttles to the airport are at the hotels. None of them service private homes or individuals in outlying areas.

It’s too bad we live so far from Memphis. What with airport security and all, it would probably be too rough to arrange for tea together. I did think of it earlier, though. I have a friend who’s scheduled at a convention in Nashville next year, so we’re going to a campground there w/the RV and then take the car into the city.

Prayers up for a safe and uneventful flight, and that you and all the chicklettes and chicklets have a whizzbangwhoppadoozie vacation together!

I was informed yesterday, and wrestled with how to relay it, that Tiamat has passed away.

As she wouldn’t want us to glum out in gloom over it, I have some slight idea of “Self Posting” the eighth thread I’ve ever posted and dedicate it to the posters we’ve lost to “The darkened veil” of what lies beyond.

This came on the heels of another classmate passing the week before. So many whose lives have touched mine (or vice versa) have gone beyond, now.

I received the news as well, but just could not bring myself to tell anyone here. It’s just not that easy for me, these days. It just doesn’t end.
