Greetings fellow patriots! Houston we have a problem! A big one. I'm located in South Louisina 337. On February 28 a white SUV pulled up to the house with red DHS lettering with Texas plates. (Texas WTH i thought y'all were with us) I saw them pull in the drive an met them outside at their truck 2 agents late 40s-50s. They say Hi we are here doing a survey. One agent pulls out 3 volumes (looked like phone books almost sizewise) He ruffles through the pages in first then second volume. He finds my list (The 1 that they don't have). he says so we are doing a survey and we are going around visiting everyone and trying to verify if you own or still have these firearms. He proceeds to show me my list. Every gun i bought from a dealer is on this list. Every one from 22s to Mosin Nagants and everything in between. I was blown away and still am. Many bricks have been shat since then! I told them nah i don't have any of those dangerous baby killers gave them all away after Newtown. They left but sat parked down the road for a couple hours. Probably coordinating drone strike. I have ony told a couple of close friends i trust. I've been tryng to keep it together. The first person i told also had a visit exactly 2 weeks before me. He ordered a questionable part off the net an that's what the agents told him they were after. He lives 5 minutes down the road. I was freaked then but I didn't think anything of it you know he brought it on himself. Until i got a visit. All my stuff is legal and above board. No worries on that part. But then why did i recieve a visit? I don't know i've been gripped with fear since. Keeping watch on my porch, almost sleeping outside some nights. And then yesterday my wife's friends parents who are an hour north of us got a visit. Only the mom was home and she told them to hit the street. These people are farmers and have guns but mostly Fudd guns and relics passed down. The father was going somewhere on business this weekend and next week. He cancelled. Even the Fudds aren't safe from this. My only solace in all of this is the 3 massive volumes the jackboots had. I know i'm not the only one. I don't know what to do?! It took this long for me to tell somebody else. My wife and i are scared [crap]less!I'm not sure if they are testing the waters seeing who will comply. Or if it's something else entirely. Why down here? Why not in Commiefornia or one of these other liberal dreamlands? I thougt we were good we just voted to strengthen the 2nd in our state. i just keep saying in my head. WTF?

"Please rain down your wisdom upon us...."

I will offer a parable.

A couple hundred years ago, researchers (scientists and mathematicians) were studying the energy output of the sun. You can do this for yourself, you know.

Anyway, they were calculating how much energy was needed to say, heat water and stuff at this distance from the sun, (which by then, they had calculated).

Now the interesting thing is that this "rain" of energy happens not only all over the sunlit portions of Earth, but on the moon as well, all the space surrounding Earth, and all of the area that Earth travels through in its orbit around the Sun.

The energy passes through the area a million miles above and below that orbit as well. In fact, the energy output of the sun goes out in all directions; in a spherical volume that may be unimaginable for most, but that is calculable if you are patient. It is an enormous quantity of energy.

A few years into this process, Albert Einstein showed that there was a mathematical relationship between matter and energy.

You see, they knew how much energy was falling on one square yard of surface, on Earth, at this distance from the sun, and that was useful and interesting. But then they extrapolated that to the just ginormous amount of energy that was suffusing all space around us. But that number was just too big to be meaningful. Too many zeroes, you know? Well, that was the idea, anyway. Even that number, that E=mc2 calculation to put the unimaginable into the imagible, was way too big, too!

.

Four million tons.

.

A second.

.

Four million tons of mass disappear from existence every second, for sixty seconds a minute, for one thousand four hundred and forty minutes every day, for all three hundred and sixty-five and one-quarter days every year, and has been doing so for at least four billion years!

.

And it is expected to continue "burning" at this prodigious rate for at least another five billion years before changing in any remarkable manner.

That's a lot of energy, a lot of mass, and a lot of wasted opportunity to recharge your cell-phone with a small solar cell array.

Now, it may be humbling to think that all of this was arranged for us, so that we could enjoy a sunny day at the beach and all that, but now I want to point out something that should make you re-adjust your scales of wow! once more.

Most of that energy goes out into cold, dark, empty space, zipping along at a sedate one hundred and eight-six thousand miles per second, obeying the law and everything, and just disappearing into the night.

Our night.

That dark, dark night of cloudless climes and starry skies, shining out like a beacon into nothingness ...

Wait, starry skies?

There are other beacons, other stars, other suns out there, burning their tons of hydrogen too? Billions of stars beyond the counting of them? One hundred billion in the Milky Way galaxy alone, and hundreds of billions of galaxies?

That's ...

.

Wow!

Few of my babies have had bottles - none since Patrick - and there’s no way I’d be giving milk to dragonbabies, no matter how cute they are!

"I’ve never had a child."

You can borrow them.

Best part of that is,
you can usually send them back!

Correct Bob. Energy abundant, and we have yet to begin the harvest effectively. Warp drive maybe is the wrong methodology. Reverse polarity maybe is the proper propulsion method. If only the frequency modulations can be calibrated correctly, once we know the frequency modulations.

"Warp drive maybe is the wrong methodology."

Before we need a better drive to get there, we may need a better reason to go.

The riches, the colonization, the spread of the seeds of life, fewer taxes or perhaps no taxes at all and that maybe is the best reason of all. Will mention defeat of the Borg just for fun. Would any of these qualify?

oops ... and please excuse me Bob. Freedom, Liberty and Justice would be the best of the best reasons to go. Besides someone might be unwilling to speak without a little nudge. Maybe am wrong about the little nudge. Speaking does communicate. Communication is always a key. Not the only key but with the door there ... a key is helpful. I maybe am all wrong though.

To: All

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. For those of you who actually celebrate the day I also hope it was blessed.

We had an apartment full since my daughter invited some friends over to sample her mom’s cooking. That’s not as many people as it might sound like - NYC apartments are small, but at least they’re expensive.

The food and friendship were excellent, but I’m in big trouble. Somehow I forgot to call my mother.

Happy Monday, everyone.

Funny coincidence. Our cat, Shadow, was playing with some packing peanuts that
Bryan dropped on the floor, and a small piece of peanut got stuck by static electricity
to her nose. She totally freaked out, and went running away until it fell off. Poor little
thing. She's not the MENSA material the other cats are, but she is a sweetheart. But
fortunately, it's a big house, and she had plenty of room to run.

Here she is, my little monorail cat, in a picture enhanced by JoeProBono. Thank you, Joe, my dear.

May this month be warmer than last month. Still having climate change over your way? Lord, thank You for the warmth that You shall provide today. Lord, must the thermostat be turned down outside tomorrow? It is nearing Spring or so the calender reads. No prayers Lord for a long hot summer. Honest.

She is a sweet girl, and she is much smaller than she looks in the photo. When we took her in, she seemed healthy enough, but one of her fangs fell out. We thought she
had hit her face on the stair jumping off the couch, but then a few months later, I saw her working her mouth, and out popped another fang, its root rotted away. Alarmed,
we took her back to the vet, and he said that she had severe gum disease, for which he treated her after removing some teeth and her third fang, which were going to fall
out anyway.

So, she has one fang and enough teeth left to eat dry food, so she is none the worse for wear. She is a little darling who waits by the door when she knows Bryan or I will
be entering it. And she demands her pets as well. Yeah, she’s the boss of me!
