No I was actually looking at that picture of you that you sent me. The one of you in the bikini.
time dating again ... web going haywire from about 10-15 minutes ago. Jim and John do such a great job here. This is only location can get up.
The arm sling also helps in the Security section. I mean, who’s going to tell me it’s a fake? NO ONE!! Cause it AIN’T!
Jeepers....two weeks, two days! WOO-HOO!
Woo-hooo!
And with that, off to get all my Scouts into uniform and outta here. Boots on, I guess, so I can take the Tiger Cubs outside for their meeting.
The GG-Ma, along my sister and I grew up together, and it’s like the GG-Ma has always been “that extra sister that we love.”
So the loss was hard...and only five weeks ago.
You are such a rogue!
Currently 67 and sunny, no breeze.
The mulberry trees, however, are still shidding on everything in the area, and if I were to drive every day, I would be cleaning green pollen off the windshield of the BB SUV. Disgusting. And my sinuses are draining constantly...
A sensible plan. When I went to mine, I found it dreary and depressing. Nice that people cared, but it was all so morbid.
Then somebody took something I said the wrong way, and we didn't speak for years. People get too wrought up over funerals.
I picked out a nice spot for the burial site though. I really should have taken up that offer to teach a few classes as a ghost. That would have been fun.
It's really best to get these matters dealt with while you can. It takes a lot of pressure off of you.
Well, for my part, I think Hogwarts dealt with death and afterlife quite well. I haven’t seen all the movies (drat, darn and blast it!) but I think Nearly Headless Nick had it all, coming and going.
When I am rich, and/or have found a Sugar Daddy, I will purchase the entire set of the HP movies. For now, I will be content with the books.
HK Rowling has added a new perspective to live, love and *ahem* afterlife. (So-to-speak.)
I will donate my body to science, specifically, to the pursuit of CFIDS’ origins. After “they” are done with me, they can cremate me and send my cremains to whichever child is the most responsible. At this point, it is a toss-up.
{{HUGS}}
Bob, I’m glad your ghost is here.
You ROCK, NTI!
Thanks for the hug. I’m off to bed. CFIDS does, that, you know...
See you tomorrow.
Sleep well.
Clone. I neglected to mention that part. First you have to get yourself cloned.
The ghost would have been artificial, visible and audible only to those with the proper visor equipment.
The details are all written down somewhere.
Bob I’m glad your Clone is here. Your Clone is an excellent writer.
After your near demise? I never knew this.
I’ve reverted back to just an occasional lurker. You can ping me anytime, friend.
He looked on with bright and youthful eyes. He thought about the soul of the old man. Had it transferred, bit by bit, as he had described to Dolcita, to his new body? Or had the old mans soul gradually lost its grip on the tattered husk, and drifted away?
Was soul a property, like being wet, or hot? Was it a common characteristic that all sentience shared? He didnt know, and he couldnt know, despite having gone through the process that Pearl had developed.
He recalled vaguely, the feeling that he had stood at the doorstep of Heaven, being interviewed. He had no way of knowing if that was simply another delusion or dream.
He felt an odd detachment. It seemed wrong somehow not to regret the imminent death of this old servant. But he felt that everything important of his essence had been miraculously salvaged. Reflexively, he stretched his leg. There was no sign of the familiar gimpyness and pain. It had been left safely behind.
Like a survivor at sea being plucked from a pitiful raft, he was thankful that it had sustained him, but relieved that he no longer needed something which had long ceased its usefulness.
Thanks Bob. That is beautiful!
Oh, h***. But thank you for posting, anyway.
Another day of heartache. Somewhat better now that over initial shock.
