That would be the very gal, for sure! *snif*
Hey buck up ... your Mom didn’t get run over by danged ole train last night.
I'm sorry for anyone whose Mom got runned over by a train last night, danged-ole or any other kind. But I'm not sure about my on mother. She didn't answer when I called yesterday. Maybe that's what happened to her?
This is dedicated to everyone of us ... Since we are on The Ride. Mom was walking the train tracks again last night. Told her not to get drunk no more. Mom, this is for you too ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6uR1rZjKkM
Well, at least THAT one's taken care of. Mom's been dry since sometime when I was in college. It took over 15 years but something finally got her to AA and made it stick.
Whatever it was, Dad never ratted her out. I hope she didn't kill someone with her car.
This one goes out to those down in the Engine Room keeping the ship flying... Did Hank Do It This Way? ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=fvwp&v=TNpLSaCirj8
Well, maybe not with my mom.
Hey ArGee wanna go rattlesnake huntinâ? Next week and I’ll let you hold one of them critters. Have some video to show if you wanna see.
I did my AF Summer Camp at Eglin AFB in Florida. We had training about indigenous critters before going on our survival campout. A group of Army Rangers showed us the snakes.
When it came time to show us the Eastern Diamondback, two of them dumped it out of the box and pinned it with their tool. Then one picked it up and walked around showing us what it looked like and got it to show its fangs.
When it came time to show us the Water Moccasin, three of them dumped it out of the box and danced around a LOT before they finally pinned it. Then the guy (who could have dropped and done 100 pushups without breaking a sweat) carried it around. The thing was jerking his hands around like crazy and we were all a little nervous it might make him let go.
I’ll come carry a Rattler, but you can carry your own Water Moccasins.
I was never afraid to go swimming in the lake near my house, but watching that Ranger with the Water Moccasin gave me second thoughts.
Suppose from you lack of getting back to me that is a NO?
ArGee my error. Proud of you. Been on a rattlesnake hunt. You got guts boy. Ain’t going moccasin hunting. One of them two legged ones almost took off me scalp back when I was young. Was legging it out west with Louis and Clark ... well that another story. Have to tell it sometime. ArGee, I ain’t holding that moccasin! There might be an injun out there with only one. You hold it! Papa is threatening to take a drink, over in the corner. Papa calm down ... we’ll go groundhog hunting; we gotta bury Mom first. That’s Papa, he don’t let anything stand in the way of hunting.
Ahh-yup.
Now, the UNdead, by contrast -- we're quite different, see. Rather than beg, I'm gonna crack you in half, bite off your frozen ends, then suck out your chilly essence all the way down to your woody little sticks!
AAHHH-HHAAHH-HHAHH-hah-ha-hahahahahahaaaaaaa!
you got guts .... don’t kill ‘em Dark ... sic a snake on ‘em or share that spider.
It would be fun, but I couldn't tear myself away next week if they declared open season on Kardashians. And I'd LOVE to go Kardashian hunting.
Actually, implant one of your nightmares.
Actually don’t have to implant a nightmare. We just bring ‘em out here, back in the hills and let the wild animals have ‘em. It’s kind of entertaining. The screams go on for hours.
Monday Cat's gonna be my wallpaper 'til stuff gets straightened out.
Of course, if I bagged one, I'd want to mount a little more than her head, if you catch my drift. She's a two pointer fer sure. I'm not gonna 'splain because this is a family thread.
