This makes sense. I am way less cranky than my husband when I wake up (but I do need quiet in my early morning work hours). However, I don’t like working more than about a 10 hour work day, and I get cranky at the end of a really long day (i.e. bedtime).
Men are able to adapt to living in hovels and having nothing to eat by rice and beans, and they’re happy. Women, not so much. :)
