I was sorry to learn of your father’s passing, you have my deepest sympthanies.
I *know* you do and that’s why I stay here.
You’re all my family.
I tell you things I tell no one else.
I’ve shared my pain with some of you..pain that no one here in my ‘real world’ even knows exists.
Threads like this are the heart and soul of FR.
We must never forget that behind all of the politics and issues are *people*.
If we will not carry each other’s burdens, we are nothing.
Actually we have another 5 billion years, give or take a billion, before that calamity. Still, in view of this thread, your fault.
Post #9 is just an acknowledgement regarding the posting of a picture. What in the world did “we” just fall for?
If I were you I’d tweet your story to Ken Wahl on twitter and ask him to RT it. It would be seen by thousands of rescue-minded animal lovers.

I can barely stand to read my own words about him and the condolences of others.
It makes it “real” and that’s the problem I’m having, right now.
The denial of the reality.
I visited him and his leg was aching terribly but he was otherwise lucid and ‘himself’ and then they hauled him to a hospital far away where he ‘deteriorated’ with a bizarre rapidity and I was advised not to visit...then suddenly, he was just gone.
It’s so unreal.
The funeral was unreal.
And, so, that is my ‘problem’.
I can’t accept it yet.
It’s not really real, to me.
I am sorry for your loss. My dad passed away in 1988 and I still miss him at times when my sister and I talk about daddy...he was one of the best....the heart heals slowly, bless you and your doggies.....GG
No matter the time frame, I will still accept my due punishment with grace and courage.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Now I have several real avenues to find out either what happened to my pups or find them.
I assume you’ve already posted alerts on Craigslist in all possible areas they might be?
I detest that place but it does have an incredibly wide readership.
Is this your dog, you’re rather vague with the description.
Also, lost dogs threads on FR, sigh. No wonder donations are down.
