minimum pricing... but federal intervention has established a cartel of sorts that collude to set prices while crushing
small scale dairy operations that might somehow compete against cartel price fixing. Meanwhile farming subsidies are what are assisting in keeping the price of the raw product from moving to the actual cost of production. This was quite recently in the news as a scare tactic to pass the farm bill...
