Especially when Dead Money Takes all your S*~t!

Ahemn, yes, you see the "tribal" mindset people devolve into. That is why Balkanzation is so dangerous, that is why letting 25 Million Illegals into this country without them being assimilated is a TERRIBLE idea.

When you have groups at each others throats all the time you have a recipe for disaster!

People return to slavery, you have no water, no Power, or if you do you have to fight for it, al la Hoover Dam.

Strong men arise to carve out their own little fiefdoms, Caesar, the Enclave. (Hell in real life the barbarians in western Europe after the fall of Rome)

What else do you see in New Vegas that is turning into reality today Tadslos?

The most notable to contemporary times are the different (Balkanized) gang factions and those always less than friendly raiders, who I equate to the current Obama inspired flash mob crime crowd that are cropping up in major metro areas around the country today. They attack on sight - no dialogue, and there's never just one- always three or more. Bartering is a big part of the game too, something that crosses over to the prepper phenom today. I can never pass up a caravan to see what they have for trade.

The game gives the player leeway to make hard decisions that will either gain or reduce your standing to other AI players in the game. It's fascinating to see how the game designers drive behavior modification in the player in order to accomplish certain tasks or gain certain perks or items, and you can be a total sinner or a saint, or villified by both "good" and evil factions - depending on how you react to the AI in the game.
