When my daughter was in grade school, the joke among the kids (These are sixth graders, now!) was to explain everything (anomalous or not, weather related or not) by “El Nino”. Remember the 1990’s? Everything was caused by El Nino. No money in that, so Global Warming, rebranded Climate Change is the new unified theory of the liberal lust for power.
More a convenient fiction than an inconvenient truth.
