There have been some studies that have shown that triclosan can cause some bacteria to be resistant to antibiotics. Not everything he says is bad. I also avoid OTC pain relievers as much as possible. I’ve had many gastrointestinal problems for years and they’re exacerbated by certain OTC products.
While I certainly don’t subscribe to all of Dr. Oz’s theories, I would not label him as a quack. He’s quite the capable heart surgeon! Just for the record, what’s your medical specialty?
