Wilson was a progressive Democrat and today is considered one of the greatest presidents in U.S. historyHardly. He formalized segregation in government offices, rest rooms, and even restaurants. He approved the federal segregation policy and declared that he originated it in the Negro's best interest. We would and should turn our backs on him today.
