I think this is a good idea. Don’t listen to the ones who think politics is like rooting for your high school football team. The GOPe is just as traitorous as the Dems.
The GOPe will not pay attention to conservatives until enough membership is lost that they take notice.
I registered Independent in Colorado in 2007. Democrat or Independent, it works for me. I’m not staying registered as a member of a party that is allowing the fiscal destruction of America.
I’ll rejoin the Republican party as soon as conservatives are desired in the party again. In the meantime I’ll vote conservative and stay registered indy. And screw worrying about the primaries, that’s a waste of time too.

I thought "I WILL NOT!!!, Yall don't give a rats ass if it is 104 and I am sweating my balls off.

Well that did not get it done so I elevated the message until I got the ear of a bean counter that said "By God! We have to get this AC fixed lest I have to explain away equipment losses on the balance sheet." I got sympathetic ears along the way as to work conditions too. You do what you gotta do to effect change.
